copy videos from youtube?

hello, i recently found a video on Youtube, that i wanted to copy. Never done this before, so im not sure where to start. I just built my pc (thanks to Linderman, Grimx and a few others), anyway im not sure what to do. I will go buy a nice program that will allow me to do this, if you can recommend any? But also is there any free programs(no spam) off the internet i can get now? I just want to beable to post it to my facebook and myspace, so i guess if i can get it to my media player, that would work too? Thanks for your help, hope i posted in the right spot? If not - i apologize...

VideoDownloader adds a small icon on the status bar at the bottom of your firefox window, and a toolbar button. Just click that and download the video you are watching

Video DownloadHelper

Just surf the Web as you are used to, when DownloadHelper detects it can do something for you, the icon gets animated and a menu allows you to download files by simply clicking an item

Sothink Web Video Downloader

Re: copy videos from youtube?

thanks, had to run out real quick... I have internet explorer xp pro. I liked the "you tube downloader" or the v downloader, gonna look at these. I think these might use less resources, dunno. Thx for the recommendation.
