Blender help
so a friend buys me Blender animation software (because he knows i like character designing) and i have no idea how to use it. i went to the tutorials, etc, no of which were remotely helpful to me.
if anyone could point me to a clearer tutorial for blender or help me learn the basics for it, that would be apreciated. thanks |

Re: Blender help
Hi, Dr. Heavy B. Welcome to TSF.
If you're looking for basic tutorials, the site themselves host them[1]. Just Google search it, that would save everyone time. Good luck. [1] http://www.blender.org/education-help/tutorials/ |

Re: Blender help
If something is frusterating you I wouldn't mind helping you out. Here are a couple sites to read to make it easier for ya.
http://www.cgsutra.com/blender_tutor..._interface.php http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Do...ce/Hotkeys/Map I know my way around most of blender about 2-3years experience. It is tough to start on blender but possible and don't believe people when they say it cant do as much as 3ds or Maya, cus as far as your concerned it can. You say character design... If you want to texture your own characters its probably best to learn about photoshop or gimp too... but also learn about UV texture. good luck. |
