Does anyone use this software?
I have Cyberlink's Power Director 5, and Power Producer 4. Does anyone else use this software?
I bought it because I want to copy my VHS over to DVD. Their "help" offline or online is seriously lacking in this area. When I captured the movie, it saved it in an MPG format. The time on the movie was 1 HR 53 Min, yet it said that there was not enough room for file to be burned to the DVD! Would there be a way for me to convert that file to an image file, then burn to the DVD? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Re: Does anyone use this software?
Most likely the problem was that the file size was too big for the DVD rather than being too long (timewise) - you could try using Auto Gordian Knot (freeware compression tool, link in my signature area) to compress the .mpg file and burn the resulting .avi file as a DVD using Cyberlink.
I haven't used Cyberlink in a while now so I am not certain it will accept Xvid (codec used by AGK) files as compatible but would be worth trying. What do you want to end up playing the DVD on? - a stand alone player or your computer? Some stand alone players will play data style DVD's others won't. If it is only to be played on your computer you can just burn it as a data DVD.
