Photoshop Tutorial

Hi

I would like to learn Photoshop, & i'm planing to do it on my own. Could ny1 suggest where i might get a tutorial that covers everything from A-Z?

I installed Adobe Photoshop 7 (& Imageready with it). I have no idea abt anything related to photoshop. So, im like a total idiot abt it.

I've searched a lot but no tutorial explains everyhtning clearly. Like i still dnt know what one meant by "rasterise the image". So....

PLEASE suggest a good tutorial that tells everything about the tools and the various functions possible.

Thanks.

Re: Photoshop Tutorial

Hi again.

Janee's tutorials are really simple & easy to follow. Thanks a lot.

Is Adobe Photoshop CS2 different from Adobe Photoshop 7??, coz my friends say they use CS2.

Is it the latest? Which should i work with? Please tell me which will be better, if i wanted to show my work to sum1??

Thanks.

Re: Photoshop Tutorial

if you can upgrade to CS2 i strongly recommend it. there are an awful lot of advantages over 7, far too many to try and describe. CS4 is the latest version, but i have not seen it. CS3 i did use in work, but i find very little difference to CS2, but you should try and use this version over 7.

Re: Photoshop Tutorial

it really depends on the licence agreement that's been purchased. in most cases an installation of a previous version is not needed to validate a new version. it would do no harm to have both versions on the pc at the same time either.
