vegas 8 jumpy preview/ encoding from vob
i just bought a brand new high spec pc & video card for editing videos..
im using sony vegas 8 & have a project with about three mp4 files each one about 1gb.. when i cut them up & have bits of each playing in sequence the preview is jumpy & wont play smoothly.. what are the possible causes of this? im convinced it cant be the pc or graphics card cos theyre brand new. mp4 was the only format i was able to convert to from .vob in a decent quality without having issues with the sound being out of sync or not appearing at all.. whats the best way to convert files from dvd for use in vegas? im using a free encoder called 'super'. thanks in advance for any help or suggestions, kemist |
