Panasonic image mixer problems
I am making a full feature film using pro gear and we are using a small panasonic camera to document the behind of the scene activities.
Image Mixer came with the camera. Able to download files from camera onto computer OK. Able to open and view footage with image mixer OK. However unable to open the same file with my NLE pro software Vegas 8.0 pro. Decided to simply output the files from Image Mixer to MPG2 file, since the imagemixer seems to give that option. I then could import those MGP2 files into Vegas to edit the footage, render it and upload it to the net. HOWEVER: after creating a library in image mixer, and selecting the clips (highliting them), when I open the "edit" section of image mixer, I cannot see the clips anywhere. It is like the software doesn't know I have clips or that I have selected them. I have spent over 5 hours on this, read the entire manual and followed their instructions step by step, with the same lack of result. What am I doing wrong????? can anyone help? OR can I bypass image mixer altogether, using another application to convert the files to a format vegas could read? |

Re: Panasonic image mixer problems
so nobody can help this user with his problems ???
i have a similar issue, but with the Canon version of the I/Mixer program i can't download the camcorder vids, without renaming the "Haali" media splitter folder, downloading, then renaming the folder back again and then, I can't seem to actually DO anything with the I/Mix program :( the inbuilt I/Mix player doesn't play my vids correctly, and I can't work out how to convert the Mpeg2 TS files, into normal Mpegs so that any of my other media players will play them :( |
