about adobe photoshop cs3?

I have go media arsenal sets 1-11 and was wondering where do i place them in photoshop cs3 .

also any idea where i can find some awhsome brushs for free.

one more question ..sorry

I have been thinking about getting adobe after effects but wanted to know what its all about and what i can do with it.

like incorperate my graphics with after effects?

the arsenal sets, what file types are they?

if you need brushes, just do a search and you'll find loads of hits.

after effects i thought was mainly used for animation. while it works on 2d frames, it could be used on a single image, but most users are adding effects to a sequence of frames from an animation - i thought.

After Effects mainly used in video production to add effects to videos such as particle effects (water, snow,rain,explosions, all sorts of special effects)
