Can anybody give me some step by step instructions on how to convert and burn a video to DVD ? For example what DVD format to convert my video to and where I can download freeware to this ? Any help anyone could offer would be much appreciated !

If you have a DVD burner in your comp (which I am assuming you do) it most probably came bundled with some software, often Nero, which will allow you to burn your movie to DVD. I need to know which program you have or if you don't have any then best thing to do is do a google search for freeware DVD authoring software - some that came up for me

I can't really comment on how good these are - I use Nero or my video editing software (Premiere Elements) to make DVD's of my movies

I use a program called totsl video 2 dvd author. It converts, and burns to dvd quickly, seems to do a great job, and, although not a free program, allows enough time to let you truly see what it is capable of
