micro patterns
This is work related and because of their policies I cannot attach or provide a lnk to any sceern prints to show what is going on. So I will try to explain as best as I can, the problem is, I am not sure what I am talking about
![]() basically we have a eps file that is somehow linked to other eps files creating micro patterns. When distilling, it creates a file thats over 700 megs. We are trying to print it on film for use to create plates/dies for printing but because of the file size, there are errors. The original file was created several years ago and the person who created it is no longer with the company. There is no one left who knows anything about it. We think it was created with freehand. Whenever we try to open the main file, we get the following error, "dcs eps file cannot be opened or embedded. Please place this file using the link option." 1. does anyone here know of a link to where theres some sort of guide that can help in the creation of micro patterns so I can understand what is going on. 2. What does the error mean? 3. since this may be more technical than the help this forum normally provides when it comes to digital imaging, is there a good forum that may be able to help. We have freehand mx and illustrator 11 in addition we have adobe acrobat4 with distiller to work with. Google has not been a friend is this case
