Graph restarts when another DShow application starts
Hi,
I have a camera recording application which is getting affected by another Software, a DVD player application. While my application is recording and I start a DVD play using this DVD application, all the recorded content just before this is lost. So final recorded file consists of video after the DVD app started. It seems, due to some reason, my Graph is stopped and restarted. Why could this be happening? Do my app needs to take care of something more or is this DVD application doing something wrong? -lucky |

Re: Graph restarts when another DShow application starts
More Observation - Actually I am rendering Audio (volume zero) while video capturing. This is generally harmless. But when I removed Audio rendering from Graph, this issue was resolved. Now no video loss in recorded file. But i did not understand why just the presence of audio renderer restarted my Graph.
Is it possible that this DVD application forcefully tries to access the Audio renderer (I really don't know how it can do this!! ) and hence stops and restarts my graph? |
