recording software
Im trying to create backups for my audio cds. I have alot of global underground cds, that when played dont put gaps between the tracks. if i disc copy them i dont get gaps between the tracks, but if i import them through say windows media player, or itunes it does each track seperately, putting gaps between the tracks. any software that will not do this? you may email me if you wish.

Re: recording software
Hi, welcome to TSF
All the burning programs I've used have an option to remove the 2 second gap from between tracks or a 'disc-at-once' option. This is the default setting for all audio CDs, so you just need to remove the gaps (or set to 0 seconds) before burning. The first track of any audio CD needs to keep the 2 seond gap at the start for compatibility reasons. For example, in Nero you would add the tracks to the compilation list, highlight all except the first one, select Properties and then change the Pause value to 0. See pic below. ![]()
