vega8 help

Hey question, i have two presonus fp 10 audio interfaces, some trouble getting them to work intially but fixed all that. when in vegas i choose the fp10 ASIO driver as the audio device, vegas wont play i hit space it moves a bit. the speed indicator on the left does but no play back. when i use the microsoft sound driver as the audio device it dectects the fp 10's but it only works for about ten minutes then vegas stops recieveing the audio signal. i restart the computer it works for about another ten minutes. no error mesages or anything. once i popped up said like "problem recording unsupported media type was requested" but i Have recorded with it, just only lasts about ten min or five really. the sound is in the interface, but going to the computer , vegas doesn't get it. and qubase didn't seem to work either. anyone have any ideas incompatibility? drivers? Vista? thanks
