How to convert a .mov file?(it is quick time format). I just want to convert it to any kind of file which Windows Media Player supports-like .avi .wma .wmv or something like that. Please help.

down load MPEG Streamclip (its free!) from: http://www.squared5.com/ this will allow you to convert from Quicktime to avi, mpeg (for mpeg I think you have to have correct version of quicktime alternative) plus other file types

By the way
it converts any format to just about anything
you can even make .gif files
