WinMPG VideoConvert

hi
I just recently dl'd this program(WinMPG Video Convert) and don't fully understand on how to operate it. I am trying to convert a quick time movie(.qtl) to .avi. So i selected ALL -> AVI. Another screen pops up I put in the input destination then the output but when i hit to convert it says. "Get file information failed, please inspects whether lacks the components." Can someone explain how to use this program or point me into the right direction of a how to guide for the program thanx a bunk!!!

I use this one (http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-win.html) with no problems - simple interface, free. I had just finished converting four small claymation clips from Quicktime to avi when I read this post!

If you don't have any luck with option above check out SUPER. I have used this many times in the past. Although it can be confusing at first it's quite an extensive tool for converting movie formats.

You can change the file name(.qt1 to .mov),then try it again.
