Looking for Software to Fit My Needs - Mixing Sound Inputs
Currently I've been making youtube videos where I play a game and talk along with them. Unfortunately I have to record the audio with the video and the commentary to the video separate. This means I then have to modify the length of the audio track to accommodate for the delay between audio and video. What I'd like to do is use an audio recording program that can support both recording from my stereo mix i.e. what the game sound is making and from my microphone. With this I'd find it much easier to sync up the 2 different files as then I'd hear an echo if my second audio file was a lil off from the first. Also I'd be able to see where the audio spikes.

Re: Looking for Software to Fit My Needs - Mixing Sound Inputs
goto the control panel and open 'sounds & multimedia'. under the 'audio' tab select the volume button in the record window. select 'stereo mix' as the preferred record control.
if it is not visible select options>properties and check all the boxes to show all the record control options. if stereo mix is still not an option post back with what record options are available.
