removing unwanted backgrounds
I would like to know if it is possible to download an image and remove it's background so that it works like clip art. Example: I have cut out a tiger's head and scanned it but it still comes out with a white background.I want to be able to transfer the image to a Drawplus 8 so that the head only appears. I note that clip art images can be pasted without any background showing.

Re: removing unwanted backgrounds
you would have to remove the background manually. depending on the image this could be difficult or easy. once the background is erased it, would need to be saved in a format that allows transparency such as .PNG .TIF .GIF

Re: removing unwanted backgrounds
Try Photoshops "background eraser" tool.
Can be quick and easy for beginners but results may not be so great. You can download a trial of PS here. |
