whats the best?

So i wanted to create a slide show that i could out on a dvd that i can add text and pictures and some video and just be able to put it in a dvd player and it runs through it. whats the best program to do this with?

use the original windows movie maker

me and my cousin made one in there, saved it as wmv (i think)

and burned it using nero
