Paint Shop Pro 7 - crashing bug
Hi good people,
I have been using PSP7 for a few years now and suddenly after a general defrag and clean up of unused files I have a problem in PSP 7. If I have multiple layers in an image - every thing works fine until I move the cursor over the layer name in the LayerView window and hold it there. Previously I would get a small thumbnail pop up showing the artwork on that layer - now I get a white box and then PSP hangs and I have to exit the program using Task Manager. Any clues would be greatly appreciated - 99% of my work involves layers and this is a frustration that costs me a lot of time if I am forced to do an unwarranted exit. Thank you for your time and consideration. |

Re: Paint Shop Pro 7 - crashing bug
@ GarryJSmith: Welcome to TSF! The quickest thing I can think of is to uninstall/reinstall PSP and update it (I believe there is a 7.1 update available). Perhaps you lost some file association or even files during the general defrag and clean up...
