[SOLVED] Scanned Image

I have a scanned text document and the text has gone really light so the scanner can hardly see it, i need to get it so i can see the text. any ideas how??

Sometimes using a black sheet of paper behind the original helps darken the image.

You could also try working with the image in Gimp to modify the Black/White

Check the options in the scanner software. You should be able to do a quick preview scan and then adjust the brightness and contrast before doing the proper scan.

I remember having the same problem. If you scan the image in color (around 300 dpi) you should be able to see it just fine, more or less.

i think its sorted now, i just ajusted the contrast as only certain parts of the text was needed.
