Re: Forum problems

What image editing software do you use?

Can you post a bigger picture if possible?

Do you just want the circle edges tidied up or a complete redesign with new clipart and text effects?

Re: Forum problems

Looks good so far. Just a couple of minor fixes needed though. The bottom of the Windows logo could be better, and the area around the text needs to be cleaned up.

Re: Forum problems

Lots of 'wasted space' and the vista Icon is pixelized. Did you get it from a small image and then drag it out??

Re: Forum problems

Nice one, Carsey. If you used Photoshop to create this, feather the Windows logo by 1 or 2 pixels before adding it to the background. This will give an anti-aliased effect, removing the jaggies from the edge.

Re: Forum problems

Using the original image of the logo, select the Eliptical Marquee tool to make an outline around the circle (hold Alt and Shift and start the selection from the centre of the circle), then go to Select > Feather > 1 pixel, inverse the selection and hit the delete key. This will leave you with an anti-aliased edge to the circle and a transparent background. Then paste it into the banner.
