Logo creation software

What logo creation software do you use? I've tried and am trying The Logo Creator from Laughingbirdsoftware.

Thoughts on this software and any other suggestions?

Thanks!

I use Photoshop and Illustrator for creating logos, but that looks like a good program. Do you find the options and styles limiting at all?

@ Robert_R: I use Paint Shop Pro & Adobe Illustrator, which work well for my needs.

If possible, create a logo using vectors. This way, you can shrink/blow it up to all proportion (e.g. head on letter or poster size) whichout distortions. It may cost some extra time now, but will save lot's of time (and money) later.

Re: Logo creation software

I second what Koos suggested. Vectors can be easily scaled without loss of detail and no pixelation. It also creates extremely smooth lines for a professional and polished look. I like to create the image in a program like Flash and then export a 300DPI BMP of it for later use.

I tell you one thing. Sometimes the program doesn't seem to work as it should. Maybe I should re-install it or something.

It's definetely not as powerful as Photoshop, Illustrator, or Freehand.

The Logo Creator cannot cannot create vector output.
