wow, this is really cool
I thought this video is pretty cool...thinking about making something like that...what program do you need to use because in windows movie maker the picture timeing is to slow?

You should be able to use Movie Maker for this kind of stop-frame animation. Just insert the individual photos into the time line. You can change the speed by varying the number of times each photo is used. ie, 1 photo per frame will play back quickly, 2 or 3 will slow it down accordingly.
Or you could use specialised software like MonkeyJam (free) or Stop Motion Pro (trial version). Other free video editors similar to Movie Maker, but not specifically for stop-frame animations include Avid Free DV and Zwei-Stein, or for something really basic try Bumper.
