Video Compression [Solved]

HI,

I need a program that will compress a movie from 690mb to under 650mb to make it fit on a CR-R. I know that CD-Rs are 700Mb but the one I have here only registers at 657MB on a burning program.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Re: Video Compression

Hi Carsey,

Think you'd be better off with Auto Gordian Knot rather than Super as the options for file output size are pretty limited. With AGK you can set to pre-set size or custom. Word of warning though - AGK has Adware. There are 2 pieces of software that are highlighted as "trojans" in some anti-virus programs but they appear to be integral to the running of the program, however, there is an "Agent BN" that will install Adware on your system - it's a question of whether the benefits of the program outweigh the hassle of the Adware. One way around it is to install Spyware Blaster first. Install AGK and then open Spyware Blaster and enable all protection (there will be about 11 items that AGK has installed). This should stop the Adware. By the way, if you uninstall or clean these components with anti-virus AGK becomes corrupted and won't work.

I use Super and AGK fairly frequently - drop me a PM if you need some help.

See you, Lee.

Re: Video Compression

Do I get to choose between option 1 and option 2? Why don't you close out the thread otherwise it looks like you're still asking the question.
