Breaks between tracks Help

When I listen to music that I put on my computer from some cd's I have, the music is supposed to play continuously through the tracks ( no breaks in between), But on the computer, it doesnt do that. There is always a quick for such tracks. When I burn them to a cd, same thing happens on the cd, not the original. I not sure how to fix this because it makes the music sound awful when it gets broken up. I am using windows XP and usually use sonic record now! to burn my music. I tried to use nero's cd burnig software but it crashes all the time so i don't use it anymore. Apparently it had something that you could select to have the tracks fade into eachother but it didnt work . please help me fix this

Thanks

My System

In Nero there's an option to burn audio CDs as disc-at once or track-at once. The first one removes any gaps between audio tracks. Sonic Record Now will have a similar feature, maybe under a different name.
