can anyone identify this font?

Hi, this is one of my websites, lost the font info in the hurricane, can anyone identify this font, a friend got if off the web some years back, I'm not sure if he doctored it up to make it look the way it does now?

I wish to use this same font and look on some biz cards printing up etc.

If you've used the font on one of your websites, you should be able to find out what it is by looking at the page source (html code)

That's something that wouldn't have been used as text for the web. It would've been in an image so the code won't help.

If you get desperate, go over to www.typophile.com and very nicely request some help identifying the font. If those folks can't ID a font I'll eat my hat. Just use that as a resource only when necessary, it's sort of an elitist bunch (I mean this in the best way possible... they've got enough knowledge that they're allowed to be like that).

P.S. Looks like their server is down at the moment, but I don't suppose it'll be down long.

Yes, the font is used now as a graphic on the site

so no html coding will help.

The font you seek is Digital Sans:

Indeed it is, however if you change the sample text to 'Harvey Studio' you will notice that the R and V of HaRVey are connected unlike in the sample you provided. This could mean that you originally used a varient of Digital Sans or it was doctored after being rasterized. Either way, this is the font you want...good call CW Design!

Rasterizing will not affect letter spacing at all. Looks like whoever put together the Harvey Studio logo just altered the tracking while typing it out or letter spacing after it was rasterized. Just a couple of mouse clicks in Pshop or Illustrator is all it takes. ;)
