adobe premiere elements slo mo
I have adobe premier elements 2 and am trying to do some slo mo effects on footage imported from JVC everio camera. The slo mo achieved by the time stretch tool is very choppy and pixellated. Is this typical of premiere or is it to do with the quality of the image from the camera?
At school I use imovie and it has a slo mo feature that appears to give better (read smoother) effect. Any help greatly appreciated

Much of this will depend on the quality of the original video. Also, slow motions involves interpolating the frames with new ones, which can be problematic with a bad feed or bad software.
