Trash Burn video to DVD

I have a video that was sent to me. I need to put it on DVD. It was sent to me in mp4 format. I use nero 7. It decoded it fine for me. When I went to burn to disk I got the following message; not enough disk space. I'm currently trying to put it on a Memorex 4.7gb/120 min disk. What can I do to get this put to disk or how can I shorten the video or is there a larger disk that I can get or is there a better software that I can use.

I only have a single side burner. I'll look for DVD shrink and give it a try.

Try WinAVI Video Converter, it can convert it to DVD format. How long is the movie?
