Burned DVD's will only play on PC.

I have been copying original DVD's with no problem for ages now, but all of a sudden they wont play on DVD players. The players keep saying wrong disc and they will only play on the PC.

I use DVD xcopy platinum to copy originals and clone dvd for copying copies..??

Any ideas guys.

Cheers

It generally isn't a software problem with these issues, have you changed your media recently? Sometimes certain DVD players have a problem with certain types of media. My X-Box will read almost any type of disk but some it can't read. I use pink Ritek disks from Aabyss computers (near the clock tower on Picton Road). They've worked in every player I've tried.

I always go for Ritek Pink 8x DVD-R disks, never DVD+R. Aabyss buy in huge numbers so they're cheap, very cheap. You can get DVD boxes and everything else there too. It might be worth giving a couple of those rubbish disks to your friend to see if they work anyway, their player might be able to handle them.
