Could someone give me some advice on if this design would be compatible and work well or nay?
Its got to be used as a home computer aswell, but the main purpose is for editing video recordings and for creating images and documents, kind of an all rounder. If you can get a better build with a graphics card within a similar budget, would someone recommend it. I already have a copy of XP with an authentication code ready for when the systems together. I wouldn't really want to spend over £400. Re: Please help with my computer design xD
The PSU is on the weaker end. A good 600w or higher will ensure stability while leaving room for future upgrades. Windows XP 32-bit can only effectively use about 3.5GB of RAM, so keep that in mind if you aren't using a 64-bit version. If you plan to do more video work in the future then a 64-bit OS and more RAM would be a worthwhile investment.
Other than that I'd say you're good to go.
