@ debragrant: The best, secure and most simple way is to not put them on the internet!
But you can also put a password on the folder before someone can open or connect to the folder, which should be possible if you are the administrator of your/a website. And I believe that ba adjusting the .htaccess file on a Apache server you can also disable access to certain folders. |
