Re: MLB standings
If the Brewers only had some relief pitching, Milwaukee fans would finally get to see the post-season.

Re: MLB standings
10 years ago. Although I have to admit that a 4 man rotation of Sabathia, Carmona, Byrd, and Westbrook looks really good. Martinez, Blake, the CF, and Hafner look good, but your bullpen is a gas can waiting to happen.
The Yanks 4 man rotation would be Clemens, Petitte, Mussina and Wang. Hughes, Chamberlain and Rivera in the pen are really nice. A-Rod for MVP! It will be a good matchup. You should get tickets. I will be in Cleveland next week, maybe I should stay for the game if it is played the day I will be up.

Re: MLB standings
Perez (ERA 1.66) and Betancourt (1.40)are two of the best setup men in the game this year. Joe Bro (5.17) scares the hell out me. He's Wickman lite.
![]() I'll give you Rivera, but Chamberlain(nice era .042) hasn't even seen 20 games and Hughes (4.80) judging by the era isn't anything special. Overall I think we have a better pitching staff and you guys have better hitters. It should be a good series. If you manage to tickets have a great time, and try not to be too disappointed when the Yanks get spanked. ![]() |

Re: MLB standings
![]() New York Mets fans react after the Mets ended their season with an 8-1 collapse to the Florida Marlins in their baseball game at Shea Stadium in New York, Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007. The National League postseason will be staged without the Mets. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/gameday_reca...=.jsp&c_id=mlb

Well , yes they did it too in the regular season . Now , it 's different , it s the playoffs , and between you and me , the Yankees are the favorite to win it all , and i am not the only one to predict it : http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21077112/

Re: MLB standings
Cleveland will
the Yanks!Wang sucks on the road, and the Yanks haven't faced CC in 3 or 4 years (he's alot better now than he was then, as is the team around him) Pettite scares no one, and Carmona is a force. The Rocket? He's more like a moped with flat tire these days. Hitting got the Yankees to playoffs. Pitching did it for the Tribe. Pitching wins championships. BTW, what a great time to be an NE Ohio sports fan. Cavs went to show, Tribe back in the playoffs, the Buckeyes are undefeated and ranked in top 5, the 2-2 Browns beat the Ravens (and the Steelers lost ), and Youngstown native Kelly Pavlik is the WBC middleweight champ. ![]() |
