.bat file

I was wondering how to make a .bat file for MyApp.exe application to run on startup? Also, is a .bat file what I need to run MyApp.exe application globally on startup? If not what is the best course of action to run MyApp.exe? Any help will be greatly appricated.

Re: .bat file

this is quite vague so sorry i can't help you in this post, i need more details.

Why does it need to be run from a batch file?
i assume its because of command line options etc?

if you show me the batch file then i may be able to help (the contents of it not an actual copy)

Cheers,
Jamey

Re: .bat file

If you just want the program to "start", without doing anything extra, try putting a shortcut to it in the startup folder. I've got three on my computer located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

One of them is a script to create a system restore point on my first boot of the day. The other two are shortcuts to small utility programs.
