after what it did to NY's economy I'm not surprised. All the security precautions that would have to be taken would cost the city a fortune.

The national conventions are considered naitonal events like the Super Bowl, World Seires, the Presidential Inaguration and are subject to homeland security dollars. I'd like to see Mayor Bloomberg's take on what it did to his city's economy.

Columbus is in the running. Unfortunately, it is controlled by democrats, so I don't see it happening. After 2004, I think Ohio should be rewarded.

I feel truly sorry for protestors. I think they protest because the proximity to the president somehow makes them feel imortant. But if EB does protest, I wonder if I could talk him into having a beer with me afterwards. You see, I am determined to become a delegate to the RNC. This means that if any of you have problems with the republican political platform, you can blame me!

If my guy gets through the primaries and than to governorship I'll have to lay claim to having the most conservative governor. Finally a real genuine conservative to be proud of here in Wisconsin.

Yea, we couldn't overcome all of the illegal mexican votes and all the double and triple votes in fact one district in Milwaukee had over 100% voter turnout.

And I think they slashed the tires on republican minivans that were taking people to go vote too. Oh well, at least 2 states in the NW Territory got it right.

Those who slashed the tires included the state senators son and the ex-mayor of Milwaukees son. They recieved misdemeanors.

Apparently it's no big deal to cause thousands of dollars in damage and directly attempt to supress the vote in Milwaukee. I'm sure next time will be more of the same because neither the mayor nor the current governor care to do anything to clean up the voting in Wisconsin.
