Entertainer Harry Belafonte, one of the Bush administration’s harshest critics, compared the Homeland Security Department to the Nazi Gestapo on Saturday and attacked the president as a liar.

It is OK for her to say that, since I think history will vindicate Bush. Her plantation remark was directed at black congressmen. If she were talking to Jewish congressmen, she would have said it is ran like a concentration camp. It's called pandering and all politicians do it to get elected.

That has been singer is using his one time fame to get out his political agenda to the world. Maybe he is planning a follow up to dayo.

that's not true because she said the same thing to a white interviewer that had a white audience.

Ah, but once she has said it, she cannot deny it. Bottom line is that she is trying to pander to the fair left, yet seem moderate: She will never be president.

But people have accused her of saying one thing to blacks and another to whites, but that's not true because she has said the same thing to both.

It doesn't surprise me that she's catering to the left, I expect her to do that, but she's not separating her comments with a race line.
