Why are Democrats trying to rewrite History on why we went to war?

All the dems did was allow the president to do what he did by voting to give him the power to do so.

there are no other forms of media other than liberal controlled outlets ????? why doesnt the Prez use Rush to spread the word on the good that has been happening in Iraq. with real statistics to back it up schools rebuilt and attendance percentage / business operations open before & after occupancy / status of power, water, sewer revenue from oil & accounting of same $$$$$$$

I personally would like to hear some good news on what's being changed or made better with real varifiable numbers / not just 3 more troppers killed today?????? why cant prez get that out ?????

I think you answered your own question. The media is liberally controlled and will never report anything that would give the president any credit. Its all negative and always will be we cannot change it. It is very scary becayse the media will ultimately determine the outcome of Iraq, because they influence the American peoples decisions. We are doomed to liberalism, unless Americans put themselves above the biased facts tat are reported each day. Very scary...

You see, Linderman doesn't think the MSM is biased. It's only Fox news, and Rush who are biased. And I don't think he partakes of either, but he knows it. At least Rush doesn't cover up what his politics are, and Rush isn't a news person, and doesn't pretend to be. I don't know of any network anchor person or reporter who will admit they are liberal. They'll dance all around the question without answering. There was an anonymous survey taken of MSM news people a couple of years ago. To no one's surprise, except maybe their own, the survey showed over 80% of them regularly voted for the dems. Of course none of their left wing biases bleed over into the news stories. Of course not.

Actually there is some propgress being made. Look HERE. But there's a lot of bad too.

You see, Linderman doesn't think the MSM is biased. It's only Fox news, and Rush who are biased.

Rush is a conservative talk show host of course he is biased. He is supposed to be liberals thin that Fox News is biased is beacuse they bring up strong republicans and strong democrats to argue their points. Other network don't do that. You have never seen a fair and balanced debate until you watch FOX. The other medias are so liberal when you see both sides you think that it is conservative bias.

Well I didnt really want to get into this but; the reason why the media is so liberal as you put it; is because journalism is an educated art >> in order to have the creditentials to get to be a journalist you must possess a Masters degree in literature, english composition etc etc etc >>> those types of people are not easily led around by the nose >>> they are not wind up dolls that you just send off in any direction you point / they have a habit of KNOWNING the govt will lie to you and are speptical of canned press conferences. Their education has a way of making them "think" and question why ???????

Do they try to twist or interject their own views / you betcha but I think most do it unwittingly its very hard to write an article that is really impacting you without interjected some of your philosophies into the works. its the nature of the beast.

One thing that bugs me though / the prez or his press sectretary was found to be using media friendley's in the daily briefings / why arent they able to get "his" side of the story out ???????

If you want to encourage the US masses and keep them thinking positive about the war / then he needs to make a point to show real PROGRESS
just like me ?????? I am sick of only hearing about the killed soldiers >>> is that all that's going on over there ?

You fellas will need to figure out there are extermely dedicated bush fans and then there is the rest of the population in order to keep interst and sustain commitment he is going to have to address that fact >>>> unless you are oblivious to the fact his approval rating is headed for the toilet

The MSM doesn't point out the dems ratings are lower than Bush's. How many people are aware of that without having to go through a lot of poll/survey research on their own? Now, to be fair and balanced, Bush's ratings are also higher than the Republicans in Congress.

Hi linderman,

Well I didnt really want to get into this, but a little information for you and then a question. First of all, I have that Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in English, literature, and composition. Furthermore, I have completed doctoral level work in those areas.

Tell me please!!! Does that mean I am a LIBERAL? I sure hope not!

I am a true Republican supporter, I do not know however if I support the war anymore, even 3 months ago I would have agreed with it, but man, IDK has the Dem strategy of rewriting history gotten me? Well, I'm not entirely worried about a Republican loss in '08 simply because I think Hillary will run, I think she is far too liberal for our country, the Republicans still have many great prospects in '08. I hope I am not too off topic. AHHH WELL!

CONDI 08???? Hope not! IMO she is very smart, but I don't think she can lead our country well enough.

I can respect ones opinion on the war, but please disagree for the right reasons. The President did not lie about the war...He was given the same intelligence that was give to the US Senate and previous administrations. He decided to act on it. 9/11 changed the way that we confront evil, we cannot slep at night knowing that a man has WMD's. Saddam had WMD's it is historical fact...but what happened to them? No one knows which is scary. But with a President like Bush we will know where they went soon. All of these people who first supported the war are now turining their backs. This war was not going to be easy to win. I think that some democrats (Kerry and Edwards) supported the war first and are now turing their back on our troops once the going got tuff. The fact hat you had supported the war 3 months ago makes me want to believe that you have indeed fallen into the trap that the dems set up. Not much has changed in the last three months. Tell us why you are feeling different about the war now. As far as who is running for President in '08. I do think that Hillary will run. I personally do not think that the country is ready for a female president, therefore it would be smart for the republicans to support a male. In which case many would reject the woman and vote on gender. CONDI is a very well respected person in my book but like hillary I don't think that the country is ready for the gender change...I'm sure the time will come, but it's not now.
