O'reilly

http://www.foxnews.com/video2/player...Opinion&-1&exp

he makes a good point until he claims an editorial in the NYT is the papers policy.

I agree with what he said but it's those little cheap shots he takes that destroy any reputation this guy may have.

Hi 40,

Yep, as you know I am rather conservative and do take a look at O'Reilly from time to time. I do agree with you 100% (bet that throws you, doesn't it) on this one. I personally am turned off with his program and style.

In my opinion (wanted to make sure you know it is a personal opinion), O'Reilly is the type of person who tries to portray a general Conservative viewpoint while saying he is fair and balanced. However, his real agenda seems to be that he wants to make himself look good. This apprears to be the overwhelming thrust of his program.

Therefore, your comments are right on the mark. Hm....wonder if we will ever agree on something again??????

The guy is rude to most of his guests he has on. If they don't agree 100% with him, he will either try to rush their conversation or he won't let them get a word in edgewise.

I sure hope it isn't as hard as you make it sound for a fellow American to agree on something.

It doesn't surprise me in the least that people don't fall into the stereotypical roles placed on Americans. Churchill was a liberal when e started, then he went nutz, became a Torrie and tried to stop the Indians for gaining independence.

Sure he was great during the war, but if he was elected just a couple years earlier a lot more Indians would have died than already did.

But my point is that liberalism or conservativeness is relative to what's going on in the world and your view it, it's not a set principle that people must abide by or otherwise we become traitors to that side.

Good point. Even the great communicator started out as a democrat.

That's ok, I hear life begins at 50.

I like the quote. I always say that in college it is easy to be a liberal because you have nothing. My freshman year was 1988 and I was............. well let's put it this way, I was the only kid who wore a tie and carried a breifcase to class that quarter.
