none

I have recenly returned from Iraq serving in the Marines. I have seen alot of things bad and alot of things that are good. I must say that in probably 80 percent of the country is secure and looks similar to what goes on in a normal free society. I was in the south a little ways away from Basra, Iraq. I saw my shre of the hells of war but I must say that there are good people there in Iraq that are thanking the US for thier efforts. It is unfortunate to see that the news can only report the car bomb and barely mention the election that was held a few weeks. Having been in combat and hearing of my friends death. I must say that the worst way to dishonner my fallen marines, would be to leave the mission unaccomplished. Politicts aside we cannot abandon our fallen soliders.

My System

Yustr has hit the nail square on the head !!

How many are too many? How long is too long? How much is too much?

and dont forget ?????? for what REASON ????????????????????????????????

someone please explain >>>> what business do we have there ??? the blood has been spilled >>> I say we have to stay and clean up our mess >>> probally 10 years worth of commitment any way; until we can install another puppet >>> dont forget it was the CIA who propped up Saddam when he overthrew in a coup the former dictator of IRAQ

Look at Iraq recent voting / more ballots cast than residents / they must have had some training advisors from florida !~!~!

why are we there ?????? Afganistan YES of course thats were the terrorists came from , and were based IRAQ there was barely a terrorist presence but we sure gave them a united front now !!

It would be foolish of anyone to answer this kind of question. The plan in Iraq is clear, fight the insurgency and train Iraqi troops so they can take over their country. As you see more Iraqi's being trained you will see Iraq at peace. Let me remind you that we are still in Germany from WWII. We will be in Iraq for a very long time. No time table should be mentioned.
