Angela Merkel had such a big lead too. Now she has to give up some power just to be the Chancellor. When re-elections are due, it will be rather interesting.

Interesting! I know nothing of German politics, but It's great to see a female head of state! I doubt the democrats & republicans in America could strike such a bargain. It bothers me somewhat to see they have what looks like a Christian only party (although the republicans might as well be..).
