Rules of the Political Scene

This forum is for the civil discussion of political thoughts, ideas and candidates. Preferably these should be your thoughts and ideas and not just a reiteration of something you read or heard elsewhere.

Rule #2

Rude, insulting, foul or abusive language will not be tolerated. It’s OK to say candidate X is a fool but it’s not OK to say another member is a fool for endorsing X. And if you do think candidate X is a fool, let us know why. While you may not always agree with someone's views, please respect them as you yourself would want to be treated.

Rule #4

Please take a moment to reread your post prior to submitting it. This will help to make sure it says what you intended. Reposting just to explain a knee-jerk post wastes time and resources.

Rule #5

While we encourage heated debate, if a thread gets too hot, it will be closed.

Rule#6

Religion

While we don't enocurage the discussion of religion in the political scene, we do feel that relgion and politics have some interaction. Therefore, if you post something remotely aout religion, be prepared to defend your stance. If someone attacks you or your religious beliefs they will be given a three day ban. If it continues, they are gone forever.

Remeber the spirit of the political scene: open, intelligent debate, without attackin anyone personally.
