Senate finally agrees it's time to privatize...
Its failing resturant service...
They can't even run their resturants and yet they want to nationalize healthcare and the hint at nationalizing the oil industry. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...l?hpid=topnews I love it.

Re: Senate finally agrees it's time to privatize...
Good find Drew! Made me laugh because that's pretty typical of how Washington does things most of the time. But, regarding healthcare, neither candidate is pushing a Federally controlled plan. Essentially, both Obama and McCain support a system of health insurance that meets Federal guidelines for minimum levels of coverage, and works to contain costs, even though the system uses private companies to provide the benefits. Both plans let individuals opt out if they prefer to use other carriers.
You can read the details at both candidates' web sites. I still think the differences are significant, and I believe Obama has the better plan, but McCain's policy isn't radically different. I think this is an issue where we have achieved a national consensus and I believe a massive overhaul of the U.S. healthcare sytem is imminent, no matter who wins the Presidential election.

No EP because the US Military is a non-profit org... It doesn't sell anything. It just receives money and spends it.
