Dem VP
NO poll needed.............. whom should BHO pick and why?
I think he should choose my piece of crap governor, Ted Strickland (he is really not bad, but he signed a bill outlawing my business) because he needs a white guy. And Ted can help him deliver Ohio. Now it's your turn, who and why?? BTW if he picks Hilary or Richardson, he's screwed.

Re: Dem VP
Jim Webb....hehehehe...let's see Drudge try and pull the pedophile argument again...sheesh...
IMHO Webb's military history is stronger than McCain's...he'd make the perfect VP or at the very least a high level cabinet member...yeah, he won't be a cabinet member as he would have to give up his present political status...and he probably wouldn't go for VP for the same reason...still, he'd be purrfect....

Re: Dem VP
I do not know who I will vote for but the choice will be based on who the vp is. McCain is too old so he will have to get someone who is presidental materia and ready to take his placel.
Obama will need to do something similar- but if he picks hillary, aint no way I would vote for him. I hate to see another suicide or plane crash with a major political figure. He will have to pick someone that the older white population would respect. I dont think it will be someone well known so there will be a name recognition problem.

Re: Dem VP
General Wesley Clark - name recognition and trumps all McCain's speeches claiming he'd be the better "war" president.
Mayor Rudy Guliani - name recognition and a proven manager. I once saw the President described as needing to be both a Chairman of the Board and a CEO. In the corporate world, the CoB has the vision and sets the agenda and the CEO does the day-to-day business to make that happen. Obama could be the CoB and Guliani the CEO. But, I'm looking into: Kathleen Sebelius - Gov of Kansas. A white woman so all the Hillary voters are happy and has shown she can win in a red state. |

Re: Dem VP
you're assuming the Hillary voters just want another white woman. From what I gather they just want someone who who will not take the indignity of being asked the first question or stand for pamphlets that dare to quote her positions on trade agreements.
A very picky segment of voters. If he could get Bloomberg that could nab a lot of center left/right guys that Mccain is shooting for.

Re: Dem VP
Gov. Ted Strickland says he will not accept vice presidency ticket and does not bring enough experience to the campaign says Michael Barone of CBS News.
