You know, just when it looks like the Democrats are virtually a given to win the next Presidential election, and all of us Raving Pinkos think that the party can put the divisions between Clinton and Obama behind us, we get this moronic sermon. Pfleger has generally been articluate, and cool under fire in his support of Obama, so where did this bit of total imbecility come from? Here's some commentary.

I'm very curious why preachers of any ilk (I'm thinking particularly of evangelicals but this really applies to any) are given the time of day? Why are they thought to have any insights into anything - particularly political life? They don't study man. They don't openly seek knowledge or truth. They don't question their prejudices. They don't seek harmony or compromise or accommodation, just conformity. Their sole source of reference is a book of fables. Yet one of these guys hiccups and the press beats a path to their door.

Curious.

they just go after the big named preachers or those who are affiliated with candidates. The press loves to bring down the mighty whether it be politicians, celebrities, or preachers. It gets them ratings and that all its really about.

I heard on the radio today that the rumor is that BHO's wife has a video of her spewing racist rhetoric from the pulpit. It's probably only a rumor, but if there is a video (we know Mimo will find it), he's screwed.

I will believe it when I see it. Just like that bit about obama being muslim. Look how fast that went around the internet. And there are still those believing it.

Hillary supporters are doing anything they can to cheat, steal, and lie to get her a nomination. This could be another one of their lies.

And even then...if she did use a term like "whitey".... so what?

The problem is, people who don't like Obama (or want McCain) will cling to anything that confirms their dislike. Just like the WMD claim. There are still people who believe Saddam had his finger on a nuclear button, and no amount of proof to the contrary will convince them otherwise.

It's just something we'll have to ride out, if indeed they have something that makes her look bad.

Look at my text, I never said it was a fact. I did say it was a rumor. I did use the word if.

I merely reported on the existence of the rumor, as is warranted by my position as manager of this forum.

As it turns out, the rumor has no basis, much to Hillary's chagrin.

Has that lack of proof been confirmed, and if so, can you point us to a source story repudiating the rumor? Thank you.

I participate in a few other political forums, so I should say I'm not familiar with the concept of a forum "manager". There are moderators to help keep things from getting too heated, but their duties don't involve actually controlling (for lack of a better word) the content. So this is new to me.

But in keeping with your managerial status, I'd like to say that I look forward to your reports regarding McCain's questionable campaign advisers and their lobbyist ties, when you have the time. They are more than rumor so keeping us up to date with them shouldn't be as difficult.
