I agree with mikeber...her point is that things can change even late in races. Sure her choice of an example could have been more thought out but for those of us who remember it - and HRC is certainly of that group - the assassination was a monumental event. I was living in LA at the time and remember vividly the moment it happened. On TV, hearing the gun go off, the scramble around Bobby Kennedy, Olympic decathlon star Raffer Johnson wrestling Sirhan Sirhan to the ground, someone yelling "break his thumb"....so yeah if I was asked if a champaign was over in May I might recall that scene too.

(And no I am not a HRC supporter)

I thought california already had their primary. Personally I do not know who I will vote for yet but I think if the democrats want a chance to win the presidency, they need to unite as soon as possible so they can focus on McCain.

Just an old remark taken out of context. For the Republicans, this is a chance to do a stage act. Nothing but smoke and mirrors. In the end, McCain just can't divorce himself from his image as Bush T3, and no matter how much he wants to repudiate endorsements from Hagee and Parsley, he took those endorsements knowing exactly what theological positions they held.
