But the occupation has been better now... first hand from my friend who just got back... but the mission Bush was talking about was accomplished, now the current mission needs to be complete.

A mission a day keeps withdrawal away. I remember one of those tiresome corporate management workshops I took where the "facilitator" explained, "We never fail to meet our goals. We just redefine and reschedule them." Well it was crap then and it's crap now. You can play all the elementary school word games you want about the "old" mission versus the "new" mission, but the bottom line is that constantly redefining "success" isn't really the same thing as succeeding.
