under my bed....a Winchester Super X Model 1 circa 1976 loaded with 5 rounds of 1 3/8 oz copper plated BBs with a muzzle velocity of 1,450ft/sec....do the math on the kinetic energy considering with its full choke its basically a slug at less than 20 yards...I'll say this: it beats a hot .357 mag load @ 10 yards hands down...my dad tried to shoot a lock off a gate with his pistol...no go...one shot from Betty Lou and we couldn't find some pieces....

Why am I not surprised about Wozer's gun?

I sure don't have any guns under my bed. That makes them just too hard to get to, but do have a few here and there.

To get back on track with this thread (sorry for the stray), it is sad that someone like Cheney doesn't care what anyone thinks, because he thinks he knows more than anyone else. My personal opinion is that his influence on GWB has been so strong that GWB is a different person than he would have been if he had chosen another person for VP.

Can't change that now, but is sad that it happened. When someone has this attitude, it is very easy to get turned off and have the government not be responsive to the people.

Cheney would be an ideal evil dictator with his attitude. I for one will be glad to see him out of there.

my daughter is 23 years old and out of the house...I'm not particularly worried about any of our cats finding the gun and shooting themselves....hence, I keep it handy if needed to deal with an intruder...and I don't want to have to go fumbling around in the dark looking for it if its ever needed....and yeah, I'll bust a cap in some edited head with no problem and no regrets except for having to replace some carpet...

I can agree with that... Cheney is an idiot to say something like that especially during this year...
