A little reminder is always good:

Anthrax hunt turns to US extremists

The ames strain of anthrax which was used on the biological attacks on the US Congress originated from the US military Fort Detrick laboratory.

yeppers....as of yet I have failed to hear any sort of explanation that explains why Bush and many cabinet members were taking Cipro before the anthrax event....Cipro=high strength antibiotic that is NOT taken lightly...so why were certain 'key' people taking it?????

People who listen exclusively to some righty AM radios are not aware of these stories.

Re: Anthrax Attacks: Advocates Say Ruling Chills Reporters

'standard precaution' from what 'buddy'???? does Bush read Tarot cards/read his horoscope daily...did he get some magical warning that 'it would be good if you and all your close acquaintances start taking Cipro because something bad is about to happen"...Inquiring minds want to know all about this 'standard precaution'

read my post again and pay attention to the word before....Cipro is NOT taken for kicks, nor should any antibiotic....

For something as critical as an Antrax attack . . why wouldn';t you start cutting fingers off one inch at a time untill the source was revealed?????

Re: Anthrax Attacks: Advocates Say Ruling Chills Reporters

* Anthrax letters sent to Congress on October 9
* Tom Daschle letter opened on October 15
* 31 Capitol workers test positive for the presence of anthrax on October 17
* Patriot Act passed the House on October 24 (Yeas: 357; Nays: 66)
* Patriot Act passed the Senate on October 25 (Yeas: 98; Nays: 1)
* Patriot Act signed into law by President Bush on October 26

Did the WH need at that time a little push to pass the bill ? I am just saying ...
