8/28/2006 : Early warning on US economic bust

Early warning on US economic bust shown in this interview, but I wanted to kick ,the second guy, that Laffer hard in the nuts.
By the way , Laffer was the one who convinced Reagan that you could lower tax rates and raise spending and everything would be fine.

Bonus story : (sorry, more bad news)

Mortgage market needs $1 trillion, FBR estimates
Without that, prices of securities will fall, raising interest rates on home loans

Re: 8/28/2006 : Early warning on US economic bust

the laugh about the Laffer Curve is that there is no way to determine which side of the bell you are on, basically its just a flip of the coin to make a guess as to what to do to 'fix' things....more voodoo economics along the line of the fabled 'trickle down theory'....

on the dire predictions...yep, I've been giving those for over a year now, but of course no way is the mainstream going to give such an early warning of reality as that would just scare the sheep before the wolves have time to get out...sure there are those that spoke up but they were quickly silenced by the louder voices of reassurance
