Bush predicts GOP will hold White House
Bush says GOP will win the White House, Senate and House of Reps. "When I say I'm confident, I am so because I understand the mentality of the American people"

Re: Bush predicts GOP will hold White House
That's right: why start being truthful now?
Just because you believe it in your heart doesn't mean its not really delusion? How many of those "winners" will ask George to campaign for them this fall? Memo to George: You're irrelevant. Nobody cares what you think. Last edited by yustr : 02-26-2008 at 06:39 PM. |

Re: Bush predicts GOP will hold White House
It is good that you care what Bush thinks, Bry. We all need hopes, dreams, aspirations, and even fantasies. When will you realize that expecting wisdom from Wubbya is exactly like putting a shell to your ear and thinking you hear the sea?

I have faith in him. It is no more or less blind than the the faith that people have in Hussein obama.

Re: Bush predicts GOP will hold White House
To a point, I have to agree with you about Obama, bry. That's why I'm voting for Hilary in the Texas Primary on Tuesday. Bush, though, has a track record; I don't have to take him on faith. Unfortunately, said record smells like a feedlot on a hot summer day.
Still, Obama is drawing large numbers of independents and young voters (a group that usually doesn't vote much), so the one clear message should be that the Republicans won't hold on to the White House. Before the last Congressional elections, the general outcome was easy enough to predict, and I think things are even more clear for the Presidential election. Still, bry, you can take some consolation from the fact that every political party has to be slapped down now and again because they all tend to lose touch with reality.

man, how lamer...using Barack's middle name in a childish attempt to make people think he's somehow magically related to Saddam ![]() in my eyes both McCain and Obama have a strong negative...Barack thinks the illegal aliens should be allowed to stay, and McCain wants Roe vs. Wade overturned....I must say that my mind is NOT made up on who to vote for if they meet in the election in November... thank God that Rudy is now out, and hopefully Hillary also...its been a real eye opener to see Billy Bob's true nature (rather nasty IMHO) as he campaigns for his wife... |

Re: Bush predicts GOP will hold White House
that, of course, would be taking away a vote for one of the real candidates, so I will NOT be doing what you think...DUH!....most likely Nader's presence will mean McCain will win as most likely he will be pulling Democrat votes...

Re: Bush predicts GOP will hold White House
Bush (second term) in my opinion was a huge disapointment. My god man you have a veto pen and you never used it!. And now all I'm left with is a Liberal Republican cloaked in Conservatism. So in the upcomming Election I will leave the "president" box unchecked. all other Items on the ballot I will vote on.
Where is the CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE? the last 4 years we had our country going to hell in a hand basket. Maybe we need 4 years of it going to hell in a hand basket on a rocket ship! (the phrase hell is for figurative pourpouses only and in no way is used as a heven/hell/reliugous content) Then myabe we can get a real conservative candidate who you might not agree with 100% but will tell you straight out how it is and you will allways know where he/she stands! Politians need character and so few have it these days. |
