The group Vietnam Veterans Against McCain attacks Senator John McCain's heroism as a POW in the Vietnam conflict; this is making some waves in the news due to McCain's presidential candidacy. The documentary "Missing, Presumed Dead the Search for America's POWs" however focuses more on Senator John McCain successfully blocking the release of classified POW/MIA documents. John McCain made 32 propaganda tapes for the Viet Cong Communists.
And had them all classified...

Hmm, let's see..... you are being held against your will. You were in a plane crash and received no treatment for your wounds. You are being beaten day and night by your captors. They abuse you emotionally as well as physically and deprive you of even the most basic human needs. And then they promise some relief if you "confess" on tape. I am pretty sure that America will give McCain a "pass" on this one. Maybe if he's lucky, moveon will get a hold of this.

Last time we gave our president,multiples passes , the country became almost Bankrupt!

If we're dragging wives into the mix, let's not forget that Husein's wife hasn't been proud of America until now.

What does that link have to do with Vets against McCain?

If you torture anyone enough, they'll break. I know men who've been there. I can't condemn McCain for wanting to erase his shame. Is there anyone who can honestly say that if they had the power to hide the most painful and humiliating moments of their lives that they wouldn't do it?

Now, as to Dolores (not "Delores" as the Vietnam Veterans Against John Mc Cain call her) Alfond's allegations; she claims that there are American POWs from the Korean War forward who are still alive and in enemy hands. She believes that any findings to the contrary are lies, and she has publicly criticized both the Executive and Legislative Branches for covering up the "facts". Small wonder that McCain takes offense.

Sorry, but I don't see that at any point in his remarks he "insults" or "belittles" her. He's clearly outraged and angry, but never fails to respect her concerns.
