The problem is Bubba votes.

actually a bigger problem is the fact that republicans will be allowed to vote in the democrat primary, which means they will vote for hillary because they know Obama will give a hell of a fight against McCain

I now see why GWB won a second term, if his supporters can spot a 'bad egg' by their middle name.
no... GWB was voted a second term because we were voting for either a turd sandwich (Kerry) or a bag of douche (Bush)

People voted for what didn't smell the worst...

Re: "I don’t want a man that’s going to use the Koran to be sworn in as President"

what?

polls indicate that McCain would beat hillary by a 10% margin, whereas against Obama the stats are about even...so (and this is being 'advised' by a plethora of republicans) to vote for hillary this Tuesday is a republican strategy....

Ahh, beware the cunning subterfuge Wozer!

Here's food for thought, since the thread is about names:
In Britain, say McCain and anybody would think ovenchips (or perhaps you know them as ovenfries). So perhaps McCain should change his name to be less synonymous with a foodstuff.
I mean whatever next... what if a president had a name synonymous with vacuum cleaners? Or synonymous with a thick green plant, for that matter!

This is to the point: what is the use of claiming "I am to change it all", if we know nothing of what he intends to do?

He probably doesn't want to be attacked on his agenda. Of maybe he just dares not tell american people that governing a country is so complicated, that in fact very few things can truly be changed, however goodwilled one is.

In France too, every politician claims to make a brand new world...but he cannot change industries, economics and law that easily. What is the use of these lies? Why not tell voter the mere truth: that a ruler cannot change his country. Whatever his side.

Re: "I don’t want a man that’s going to use the Koran to be sworn in as President"

The guy has outlined most of his plans on his website. The reason his speeches don't delve into his plans is because his constituency likes the types of speechs similar to the one he gave at the convention more than they do Hillary'esc policy speeches.

So I don't get this argument that the man has nothing behind his words when it's as easy as typing in "obama" on Google if you want to find out the specifics on his stances.

Re: "I don’t want a man that’s going to use the Koran to be sworn in as President"

They voted that way because McCain had at the time clinched the republican nomination (unfortunatly) and there would have been no point to vote for the "just waiting for the paperwork to clear" winner... so whats there to do? Vote for someone else to keep the other person from winning... which was to vote for Obama to be the winner of the democrats... many o' republicans were doing the same thing here in Washington as well... switching their registation to Democrat to vote against Hilary. Yes the polls say one thing but how can polls really be trusted when in '04 the polls were showing Kerry as the favorite yet Bush got not only the win in electorates but also garnered the popular vote?

Alot of the republicans I know weren't voting for Obama, but were voting against Hilary.

Re: "I don’t want a man that’s going to use the Koran to be sworn in as President"

ROFL... I'm not sure which of the three Dems I'm going to vote for!

I also find it intriguing that a man can be in a branch of service as a Sgt., for example, and they try to use that as "I'm qualified to be Commander in Chief"?? So if I'm a cashier for a company does that make me qualified to be CEO? I slept in the same house as someone who had important decisions to make... so I'm qualified to make them too... hahahaha that was a good one!

Of the three Dems. I'll likely be backing Mr. McCain, but I would like to see some real change and the Constitution actually upheld. I'm tired of giving Americans giving up freedom for protection... going straight down the road toward communism and seeing a lot of similarities to Rome in it's final days i.e. giving away money to stimulate economy??

Edit: one last thought... small gov't

d00d....you need to clean your glass belly button...sheeshus...I can't (actually I can) believe that you are arguing against plain ol' facts...

go here: http://www.590klbj.com/Bios/Jeff_Ward.aspx

look around..find the toll free number and take the time to call and ask Jeff what the big topic was on March 4th....ask how many dillholes called and bragged about voting for Hillary so that McCain might not have to meet Obama...and ask about that one lady from Kyle who started to do so but decided as a real Christian that such an act was morally wrong...

but hey, if you wanna pretend to be a Texan, go right ahead...I'll just report you to some Good Ol' Boys and let them hunt you down and show you how imposters are treated around here..roflmao....
